This is a salad I made...bowtie pasta with red onions, red peppers, chicken, spinich, tomatoes and parmasean cheese. It was yummy!

All in all, it was a fun weekend! It rained for awhile on Saturday but we were able to get the BBQ - Pool party in! It ended up being a beautiful day! I went back on Sunday to get some more pool time in and it was pretty much just the 4 of us....as you can see from the last picture!! We were having a great time!
Weekends are just too short anymore. Two days isn't enough! I say there should be a National change where we work 4 days a week and get 3 off! Anyone with me?
Monday and today have been really busy at work so this has been the first chance I have had to get this blog done!!

On a totally different note: I find that I'm really tired of commercials!!
There are two campaigns that are really on my nerves....the first is all the Swiffer commercials with the cheesy 80's songs! Why would you put a bowling ball on a floaty with a dirty old mop? They were pretty funny at first, but I think it's time they get a new campaign going...ughhh.
The other, is the new Honda commercial where "Mr. Stupid Opportunity" sings a stupid opera with a woman. You can't understand what they are singing, so you have to read the words! Well, when I have the TV on, I'm usually not sitting right in front of it to read the words! All I hear is the awful singing!! Stop already!!!
Ok, I've got that off of my mind..... Commercials suck.

Ok---first off, HUGE improvement on your picture taking! HAHA!!! You told people to LOOK at you!!! YEAH!!!! Makes for a great post!! Looks like a fun time----MAKES ME SO EXCITED FOR OUR VISIT IN A COUPLE WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That salad looks yummy too!! I think we should start calling you Betty Crocker----you keep trying new things!
ReplyDeleteOh---AND I wanted to say I love that you handed the camera off and had people take YOUR picture!!! I have realized with me, that I was never in any posts, because I was the picture taker, so I am trying to get better at handing the camera off so I can make the blog too!!!! Good job!!!!
