We have a nice little covered porch on the front of the house where we sometimes sit and enjoy the beatiful weather. There is a littel flower bed (minus any flowers) RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE CHAIRS. A few days ago, I noticed that there had been something "digging" in the dirt. And then I saw IT. And then I smelled IT. Then I noticed all the flies around IT.
Yes, freaking cat poop! This little bugger thinks that my little dirt flower bed is his own personal toilet! I went online to find ways to get him out of my life...and there are a lot of things they suggested, so I will have to find one and get on it right away!! This morning as I was leaving for work, there he was....in my dirt flower bed digging away and by the time I got out of my car and walked up to him to scare him away, he was doing his "thing". Ugghh.!!! Now anyone who knows me, KNOWS that this makes for instant...I mean Instant GAGGING!!! Oh man, just looking at that little log made me want to vomit right then and there, but I held it.
I told the cat to scram and went on my merry way...still gagging at the thought of that nasty stinky cat poop.
Needless to say, this weekend I will be purchasing some large mulch/bark chips to put in the flower bed, so hopefully the cat will move his toilet facilities so some other poor person's garden! Not mine!
I will keep you posted on how the bark works!!
"oh hi! i'm a cat! I go poop wherever I WANT to!!!
(I think I need a dog to scare the varmints away)

Save your money on the bark chips cause the cat can still smell his previous deposits in the soil underneath. Instead go to Walmart or Costco and get a big container of the generic cayenne pepper or chili powder. Sprinkle it liberally over the area. The next time the cat arrives he will NOT like the smell and go elsewhere. Works for me!!
