Trip to Morrison Inn and Redrocks

So, today it is BEAUTIFUL!  Sunny and around 60 degrees.  (I think it is warmer than that).  I wanted to get out of the house so we decided to head to one of my all time favorite places...The Morrison Inn in Morrison, CO.  It's actually a 10 minute drive from our condo.  Usually when we go to the Morrison Inn, we sit out on the rooftop patio, but because it's January, it isn't open....so this was the first time I've ever eaten inside the restaurant!!

This is what I ordered.  A taco salad.  It was HUGE and very hard to eat, but yummy!

(This is an absolute horrible picture of me...never been very photogenic)  Look how huge the taco salad is...!  BUT  look how huge my margarita is!  Guess which I finished to the end????  Yup, the margarita!!!

After we ate, we drove another 5 minutes and went to Redrocks Ampitheater.

A lot of people come out here just to run the steps for excersize!  (I REALLY should do this myself)

The Firemen were waiting (I guess) in case someone got Altitude Poisening, or just couldn't handle the thin air and all the climbing you have to do!!  LOL....Luckily, I did good!  I have been to Redrocks several times for concerts, and no matter what....YOU HAVE TO CLIMB!!  But what a beautiful place, and I am very thankful that this gorgeous place is only a 15 minute drive from where I live.

Now...we are back at home and have the Football game on.  I guess I'm not too interested in the games today, but tomorrow??  GO VIKINGS!!!
