Just a nice Saturday

Today started with chilly temps, but sunny skies.  As the day progressed, the awesome sun warmed the temps up nicely!  You see, here in Denver, even though it is only 46 degrees, with the sun it feels like 56 degrees!  Remember....we are the Mile High City, so we are closer to the sun...And It Does Make A Huge Difference!
Anyway, Steve and I made a trip to Anderson Park to see what kind of pictures we could take.  Granted, it is still January, and everything is so brown!  But here are some pics from our trip!
There were ducks all over the place.

These little "outings" are basically just training on my camera.

You can tell this tree has been here a long time!

There are Coyotes everywhere!  A lot of peopl walk their dogs along the trails of the Green Belt.  I suppose the City of Wheat Ridge needs to post this to avoid being sued!! LOL....now if I was walking my little dog and I LET a coyote get him.....It's on me!!!  Duh!!!
All in all, it was a great little walk for Winter time!

When we got home, I put some pork ribs in the oven.  They were AWESOME!  I marinated them in a Caribbean marinade, and baked them in a 325 degree oven for about 4 hours.  They turned out fall of the bone tender, and the different marinade other than the BBQ sauce was really really good!  Baked potatoes and corn finished out the meal.  I didn't even think to take pictures, but believe me....it was SO good!!

  1. Pretty pictures(even if everything is brown!) That's nice you were able to get out and about! Dinner sounds sooo good, we had roast and that was yummy too!!!

(PS---take the date off of your camera, makes the pictures better without the date! :)
