Just checking in!

1.  I have been enjoying the beautiful 'Pre-Fall' weather lately!  High in the mid 80's, humidity around 20%, and lows in the upper 50's!  Just awesome!

2.  Slaving - working for the man...8-5 everyday.  It gets old.  I want to win the lottery!

3.  I miss my family in Iowa.  I love looking at the blogs and FB when I can.  My babies are growing up so fast!  I would imagine I should plan a trip that way - I was thinking for Thanksgiving maybe???

4.  My heart goes out to the people who have lost their homes in Boulder Canyon due to the massive fire that started 3 days ago!  So far, there has been over 136 structures lost!  I will keep praying.

5.  I started the HGC diet again - yesterday was my first day.  I lost 3 pounds in a 24 hour period!  I weigh less this time than when I started the first time, so I'm thinking positive thoughts! Compared to the first time, I'm already ahead 10 pounds!

6.  I've been trying to think of something I can do for some extra income.  This Obama mess is kicking my ass.  I want to do something from home, but need some ideas!?

7.  Still loving the new house!  The neighborhood is great and we are SO comfortable there!  Great move on our part!!  Still want to do some "finishing" touches on decorating though.

8.  I went out on a limb and have HOT PINK nail polish on my toes!!  I love it! (I did have that color on my nails as well, but it all cracked off, so went with a more sublte color of rose pink.

9.  Sorry, no pictures.  I am doing this at work and of course no camera...sorry! Not that you wanted to see pictures of buring mountains, pink 48 (almost 49) year old toes, or of me sporting my 3 pound weight loss.

10.  Go Vikings!  Beat those Saints......yea, that's right.....who dat now???

11.  I think that about wraps up what is going on with me!!  NOT MUCH!!
