My Sunday

Two posts in two days!  I am rockin' it!  HA!  I have made some great friends out here....one of them is Bobby Daisy.  Well today, I finally got to meet his wife Beth!  Lisa and I headed to Boulder to the 14th Street Bar & Grill to meet Beth for lunch.  I just have to say...she is the most delightful person!  I fell in love immediatley!  (Does that sound right??? Oh well....you get the picture)  We had a really nice lunch and all agreed that we will get together on a regular basis!  It is SO refreshing to meet women who you can really connect to.  She was genuine and a really sweet REAL person....love it!

Here is Beth and Sista girl Lisa!
Aren't they just adorable?

I got home a little while ago, so I'm on a mission to make this for dinner.  Even though it is kind of crappy and cold outside, I'm still going to grill!

And when dinner (or supper for all the rest of us) is over, I have been looking forward to watching "America" on the History Channel tonight.  I love History and I think this will be an awesome show!

Oh, I almost forgot!  On our way home from Boulder, we just had to stop in at the Rocky Flats Lounge!  I guess you can consider this place our family hangout.....because so many of our friends hang out there!  It is quite the place.  It is on Hwy 93 between Golden//Arvada and Boulder and is directly across the highway from the old Rocky Flats Nuclear Plant...which has since been closed down.  On Friday nights they have the most AWESOME fresh fish fry ever!  The owners are from Wisconsin, and have fresh Walleye (and other) fish flown in...and it is SO GOOD!!!!  I mean, if you like fresh walleye, deep fried to a golden brown, choice of potato and coleslaw...you will love this place!  Anyway, I had to add this in.  I am so hungry for fish right now!! HA!

I didn't take a REAL picture, but found this one on the web.  It's such a dive, but what a great place!

Just a picture from the bar.  I thought this head was a tad bit strange...but in a good way!

We headed to Lisa's house and before I headed back home to Lakewood, Chuck showed up to help her with some gutter issues!
Well, that was my Sunday!  I'm off to get the brats grilled and get ready for my show!
