Tonight we had a joint effort and made Chicken Parmesan. It is easy and delicious! I want to put this recipe on my blog...because really......IT IS EASY!
Here are the ingredients:
4 boneless chicken breastsm POUNDED to 1/2" thickness
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
seasoned bread crumbs
2-3 tbls oil...olive oil is best but you can use any oil you have
8 slices of Mozzarella cheese....or you can use shredded (the more the better)
1 16 oz jar of favorite spaghetti sauce
parmesan cheese
Whisk together the egg and milk. Dip the pounded chicken breasts in milk and egg mixture and then in bread crumbs. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the chicken in hot oil until golden brown, about 4- minutes on each side. Set chicken aside in a baking dish.
Slice the mozzeralla, (or if using shredded) be sure to put PLENTY on each breast. Pour 1 jar of spaghettis sauce over the chicken and cheese. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and put more mozzerala on the top of all.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. In the meantime, cook spaghetti noodles.
Serve with the spaghetti noodles. Top with more parmesan cheese. You can also serve with garlic bread and/or salad.
So EASY and is very good!
Try it! It is so good and filling and just 3-4 chicken breasts will feed a whole family- NO Problem!
