Just a couple things:

Not much going on really.  Just working everyday and what spare time I have is spent getting things done for Christmas!  Still have some shopping to do and a little more decorating, but for the most part - I'm doing pretty good!  I hope everyone else is getting ready for the Holidays???

And - oh, I currently have  CC  for my internet, cable and phone (I don't even have a land line phone in my house - can you say "waste of money"?)  D TV is offering me a SWEET deal!  For the same money I am paying with CC, I ALSO get HD and a DVR.  Now I have not had any way of recording anything since the VCR was kind of done away with - at least I dont' have one.  So the thought of being able to record something makes me very happy!  I'm kind of a TV freak and not that I like to admit it, I do watch a lot of it!  We do spend a lot of time at home so our entertainment is pretty important.  The DTV guy is coming over tonight and I think I'm going to go for it!  What do you guys think?  What do you have and why do you or don't you like it?

**DTV knows not of who I am, and am in no way putting one company down or singing the praises of any other provider - this blog is just my life and my thoughts**

  3. We have DirectTV and we really like it. Haven't had much snow to see how the signal will hold up, but we've been told by friends it is fine. Rain is actually worse, and it can cause it to go out once in awhile. I think mostly it has to with placement of the dish. DVR is fantastic, as well as HD. I don't watch a single thing not in HD (unless it's a local game that doesn't have an HD option) and I NEVER watch live tv. Fastforwarding through commercials tends to spoil a person!
