We had a great time tonight for Christmas Eve. My Christmas Eve's are NOTHING like they once were....I miss those days, but I have my memories! Always!!!!!! Times have changed, we have all moved on in different ways. It is just a thing called LIFE. Being my 48 year old self.....I relish the moments I have with my family here in Denver, but I sooooo dearly miss my family in Iowa. Not a moment goes by and I wonder what they are doing this Christemas Eve, and the sweet little faces of the most important people in the world to me when they experience the Christmas Moments! I know I am not the only NANA in this world who misses these things. I think from now on we will have to re-think our Holiday plans.....Life is too short to miss these moments. To everyone....Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
WE miss you too mom...and that made me cry! Christmas is not at all what it used to be, but you are right, that is life, that is growing up and things change...but I still want to be with my mom at Christmas---and my kids would love to spend it with Nana too!!!
